Musical Of Community

My heart long's for true community.  I have had this hunger that has been growing over a long period of time but not knowing what I'm hungering for, until this morning.  I woke up thinking about the early church in the book of Acts.  I went to the online Strong's Lexicon and typed in "One Accord".  The word is only found 12 times in the bible and 10 of those times are in the book of Acts.

The phrase "One Accord" means 'with one mind, with one accord, with one passion'.
But, under the meaning of the word for "One Accord" the lexicon has this paragraph written about the word that I found very interesting.

It said, "A unique Greek word, used 10 of its 12 New Testament occurrences in the Book of Acts, helps us understand the uniqueness of the Christian community.  Homothumadon is a compound of two words meaning to "rush along" and "in Unison".  The image is almost musical; a number of notes are sounded which, while different, harmonize in pitch and tone.  As the instruments of a great concert under the direction of a concert master, so the Holy Spirit blends together the lives of members of Christ's church."

My heart longs for the 'Musical of Community' to break forth like never before.
