Where Have We Been?

So, Its been a while since we have posted much of anything on this here blog. Many reasons have contributed to this but really the biggest reason of all is that we have not had much to say. When one doesn't have much to say then one should not try to write. That sounds like a silly excuse but when you are walking through certain things in life, and with God, there are times when you really don't feel like you can say anything.

We have been back in Canada for almost 4 months now and it has been an interesting time of transitioning, not what we were expecting at all but its just like God.  I'm not sure how the majority of human brains work but mine skips the steps between A-Z and thinks it will jump from A directly to Z. God has spoken so many Words and Promises over our life and we feel that this is the time of stepping into those Words and Promises. I don't exactly know where we are in that process but I'm confident that we have taken a giant leap from A.
The Weaver clan has stepped off the edge of the mountain, taking a leap of faith, we've fallen headlong into the endless arms of grace. We have come to the realization that every word spoken over our life is impossible for us to fulfill on our own.  What Freedom!  Every morning we wake up and find ourselves doing the front stroke in daddy's arms of grace and in the after noon the back stroke.

When you live out of your head and not your heart you will find so many variables to stepping out in faith.  When you live out of your heart and not out of your head you will find so many variables to not stepping out in faith.  I'm not going to lie, somedays are hard but those are usually the days that I have allowed my head to be the front runner instead of my heart.  When you are believing in those things which have yet to manifest and the days keep going by and the bills keep coming in you have to make a decision.  Am I a Israelite that would rather go back to Egypt or am I a Caleb and Joshua who already possessed the promise land before they even set foot there.

Yes, We have left Egypt and the slavery that it held and have stepped eternally into Sonship.  We are taking one step at a time towards the promises of God and the dreams of our hearts and like Caleb and Joshua we echo that the land is good.

Thinking.

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't;
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But soon or late, the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.
